The typical Bairradine soil is "barro" (clay) an argilleous soil with higher or lower limestone content, that is deep, fertile, and has a high-water retention capacity.

Due to its proximity to the sea, the climate is typically Atlantic, with mild and rainy winters, a hot but slightly windy summer. Surrounded by this atmosphere and located in Águeda, in the north of the Bairrada Region, Quinta d'Aguieira is a boutique winery dedicated to the creation of singular wines, designed with time.

With an intense ruby color and ripe tannins, this wine is powerful and deeply aromatic with concentrated wild fruits.

Some hints from the wood aging make this wine complex and rich. It is well-balanced, full-bodied and persistent
