Chateau Chêne-Vieux has been in the family since 1937 and now has about 11 hectares planted. The winery was completely renovated in 2004.

Created in 1936, the AOC Puisseguin Saint-Émilion is one of the four satellites of the Saint-Emilion appellation. The terroir of Puisseguin enjoys a predominantly southern and south-eastern exposure and a dry, bright climate. Its hilly terrain with mainly clay-limestone soils, resting on a stony subsoil, ensures good drainage and allows the vines to take deep root.
