Rialzi Grand Selezione 2019

This wine has been a dream of mine for many years. From the Perano Estate, which my entire family was keen to acquire, we have chosen the Rialzi vineyard which rises above the others thanks to three characteristic natural steps. A Gran Selezione which, as its name suggests (Italian for increase, rise), reminds me every day of my constant quest for excellence.

Eye : an intense and brilliant ruby red colour.

Nose : it is complex and represented by a magnificent combination of fruity and spicy notes, extremely harmonious. The scents of wild berries, morello cherry, violet and spices are dominant, followed by toasted notes and juniper, which reinforce the idea of a well-structured Sangiovese of incredible finesse.

Palate : it seduces with its unequalled richness and depth. The tannic structure, tight and round, is perfectly integrated. The finish is frank and persistent.
