Description
Rumo Red, a wine that takes us on a journey to a fresh and unpretentious Alentejo. With minimal intervention in the cellar and a respect for the terroir, this Rumo red reveals the full potential of the fruit and the character of the region.
Viticulture: Made from grapes selected from small plots of vines around 20 years old, carefully managed to produce quality wines. Grown on poor granite soils and rocky, infertile schist soils with low yields, where quality is the priority. Our grapes are also cultivated under a certified integrated production regime.
Winemaking: The grapes are hand-selected, and after sorting and crushing, they are transported by gravity into stainless steel tanks and cold pre-macerated. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the post-fermentation maceration lasts about 22 days.
Oenologist: António Maçanita
