The history of Barbanera goes back to 1938, when Altero and Maria Franceschini, thinking of their future and that of their children, decided to open a small business linked to the world of wine.

Situated at the foot of Mount Cetona, in the beautiful and generous Tuscan terroir, the family business is now run by the fourth generation, which brilliantly combines values and tradition, while remaining attentive to contemporary challenges.

The intense and deep red colour of this wine is characterized by subtle purple hues.

The predominant notes of mature red fruits and jam are perfectly combined with sweet vanilla scents and spicy aromas.

It's soft, round, full-bodied and well balanced in tannins with its fruity and velvety finish.

It's a perfect match with grilled red meat, tomato-based first courses and matured cheese.
