Poline Bio 2023

Located 20 km north of Montpellier, in the Pic Saint Loup region, one of the most prestigious in the northern Languedoc, is the Clos des Augustins, a 55-hectare estate. Since 1920, the same passion has been passed on from generation to generation. The story goes back to the beginning of the century, when the two great-grandfathers, both named Augustin, worked the vines on their 22 hectares of land.

In 1998, Roger and André MEZY decided to uproot and replant a dozen hectares of vines. After an agricultural training, Frédéric MEZY took over the reins of the estate in 2003. Since 2007, we have been working with biodynamic methods and in 2011, the Clos obtained the organic label.

Eye: A cherry colour.

Nose: A lovely nose with notes of ripe black fruit.

Palate: Full-bodied, well-balanced and elegant. The tannins are silky and the palate is delicious, with notes of sweet spices, freshness and good length.
