Les Bambins Bio 2022

Located 20 km north of Montpellier, in the Pic Saint Loup region, one of the most prestigious in the northern Languedoc, is the Clos des Augustins, a 55-hectare estate. Since 1920, the same passion has been passed on from generation to generation. The story goes back to the beginning of the century, when the two great-grandfathers, both named Augustin, worked the vines on their 22 hectares of land.

In 1998, Roger and André MEZY decided to uproot and replant a dozen hectares of vines. After an agricultural training, Frédéric MEZY took over the reins of the estate in 2003. Since 2007, we have been working with biodynamic methods and in 2011, the Clos obtained the organic label.

This wine enchants with its freshness and bright fruit, offering an irresistible greediness and beautiful spicy notes.

It is distinguished by the generosity of its fruitiness without any reserve. Personally, I appreciate this profile because it encourages tasting.

On the palate, it is fleshy with a pulpy texture and easy to savour. The volume is well balanced, without excess extraction, and the length is of high quality, with a tannic structure that coats and stretches the palate.
