Description
The castle of MYRAT, from the particularity of its terroir of Barsac is a very fine wine, powerful, spicy, peppery. Each vintage is very specific: delicate or extravagant, it will reveal the particularity of its harvest days, with always a priority: seek finesse, elegance and balance. Myrat was ranked in the 1855 imperial classification of the Médoc, Sauternes and Barsac. It has a price, that of aiming for excellence!
Family property of 22ha of vines planted on the magnificent stone terroir of Haut-Barsac. The Pontac family elaborates with passion and commitment a fine, elegant and racy Sauternes wine, true 'Barsac', with the guideline the search for balance.
It is not to be an artist to produce a great vintage, it is rigour, demand and a permanent stake, that of the art craftsmanship, of the hand sewn, where man remains humble and subject to lady nature!
