Description
The oldest house in Porto
Even before the demarcation of the Douro region, Kopke already existed. Founded in 1638, the oldest Port house has built an impeccable reputation based on high quality principles. A leader in the production of Tawny Colheita Port, including whites, Kopke has an enviable portfolio of special category Ports and also produces top-of-the-range DOC Douro wines.
‘History and exclusivity are two of the words that best describe Kopke, a brand synonymous with prestige.’
Tasting
Golden hue, fresh and intense nose with honeyed notes, which are combined with light exotic notes, vanilla and yellow stone fruit. A seductive and intense wine on the palate where the fruit aromas combine with the aromas of aging in wood. Elegant and seductive finish.
Enjoy it with an almond, lemon and poppy seed cake, or milk and hazelnut chocolate nocciolato with basil ice cream. Wonderful just on its own, after a meal.
Best served at a temperature between 8 and 10ºC.
Contains sulfites
