Description

The typical Bairradine soil is "barro" (clay) an argilleous soil with higher or lower limestone content, that is deep, fertile, and has a high-water retention capacity.

Due to its proximity to the sea, the climate is typically Atlantic, with mild and rainy winters, a hot but slightly windy summer. Surrounded by this atmosphere and located in Águeda, in the north of the Bairrada Region, Quinta d'Aguieira is a boutique winery dedicated to the creation of singular wines, designed with time.

Tasting

With a clear straw-yellow color, this wine is deeply aromatic, with evident citric notes as well as tropical fruits.

Its fine acidity enhances its velvety texture, making this wine very fresh, mineral and intense, with a long-lasting finish.
