Verruzzo 2021

Their Verruzzo, which means small wild boar, is clearly part of the Terra di Monteverro and Monteverro family and shares the same genes. At the same time, it also reflects the Italian wine tradition of Sangiovese and thus embodies the terroir of the best soils of the Maremma. 

The dynamic character of the most important grape in Italy is combined with the power and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the aromatics of Cabernet Franc and the softness of Merlot, all united in a red wine full of aromas, Italian character and elegance.

Appearance : Shiny garnet with touches of English red and purple.

Aroma : Beautiful rose petal, plum, lavender, wild strawberries. 

Palate : Velvety entrance evolving on rose petals, strawberry lingering on granular Tannins with touches of cherry and melon.
