Gamay - Les Romaines 2018

With a strong desire to develop their prestigious heritage, they combine the respect they have for their land with the extensive training they have received around the world, rich in viticultural and oenological experience, to create wines worthy of the exclusivity of their chosen terroir. Their fraternal and complicit exchanges are undoubtedly the source of their extraordinary motivation.

They are the fourth generation of a wine estate created in 1917 by their great-grandfather. The Dutruy family is celebrating the 100th anniversary of this heritage in 2017.

Eye : Intense, deep colour with purple hues.

Nose : This wine expresses the typicality of the grape variety with concentrated aromas of red and black fruits (cherry, blueberry), floral notes (violet, iris) and a nice presence of peppery notes.

Palate : Full and generous, with silky and complex tannins. A powerful and concentrated Gamay with a long finish.

Food pairing : Beef fillet with morel sauce, grilled tuna steak, fresh cheese.
