Altitude de Duorum aims to express the unique character of the Upper Douro, transporting us to a panoramic view of our high-altitude vineyards, which produce fresh, fruity, and vibrant wines and serve as a sanctuary for local biodiversity.

The wines of the João Portugal Ramos Group are present all over the world and are market leaders in the sale of Portuguese wines in several countries.

Today, the winemaker is joined by two of his five children — João Maria in the oenology department and Filipa in the marketing department — continuing the family business.

Appearance: Deep, clear red.

Nose: Rich aromas of red fruits, with notes of wild berries and a mineral touch.

Palate: Elegant, velvety, and mineral, with firm, ripe tannins perfectly balanced by refined acidity.

Food pairings: Ideal with red meats, stews, game, or aged cheeses.
