When Caesar and the Romans arrived in Geneva in 58 BC, the vine was already being cultivated.

The importance of this vineyard is confirmed by the laws of King Gondebaud in the 5th century which punished the thief of grapes with death!

The oldest document in the archives of the State of Geneva relates to the donation by Countess Eldegarde of her Peissy vineyards to the Church in 912 (Peissy, the small village where the Leyvraz family is located today).

This piece of land tells the story of two thousand years of history, where Mr. Leyvraz's grandfather, Mr. Albert Desbaillet, founded the domaine des Bossons in 1905, even though he was already the grandson of a winegrower.

Today the Bossons estate is in its 4th generation with Mrs. Laure Leyvraz, daughter of Mr. Eric Leyvraz.

Nose : red fruit aromas

Mouth : supple and fruity

Food & wine pairing : goes well with white meat and charcuterie. Also pleasant as an aperitif.
