Cannonau - Nepente Oliena 2021

The winery was founded in 1950 by a group of winegrowers from Oliena with the aim of promoting Cannonau wine. The culture of hard work and conviviality led to the decision to set up the winery as a cooperative, in order to give impetus to entrepreneurial activity but with profound social implications, and above all to perpetuate the business philosophy based on quality rather than profit, which has distinguished the winery since its creation. The winery combines ancient methods, handed down over the years, with the most advanced production technologies.

Eye: Bright red in colour with violet highlights, becoming garnet-red when ripe.

Nose: Intense.

Palate: It has fruity notes of red berries and cherries woven with rose and violet flowers. Spicy nuances and vanilla stand out on the finish. Its taste is full and structured.

Serving temperature: 16-18 ºC.

Wine and food pairing: A Cannonau with a young, authoritative soul. Goes well with pizza, roast meats and game sauces.
