In Bodegas Campillo the vineyard and the winery are united; a winery open to an exceptional vineyard.

Bodegas Campillo is one of the few examples in Rioja with this "castle" model. Surrounded by 50 hectares of vineyards and surrounded by the Sierra Cantabria, Bodegas Campillo is located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, in the medieval village of Laguardia.

The ownership of the vineyard allows us to control, from the very beginning, the final quality obtained in their wines. This is a constant throughout our range, with a unique style and personality.

Eye : Clean, bright and intense cherry red with a ruby edge.

Nose : Intense on the nose, fresh fruit notes, soft and warm notes due to barrel ageing.

Mouth : Pleasant in the mouth, tasty. Long, smooth and toasty finish.

Food and wine pairing : Goes well with all types of rice with meat and mushrooms. Some tasty or fatty fish like tuna or cod. Middle-aged cheese such as Emmental or Gruyere.
