Baron de L - Pouilly Fumé 2020

The Pouilly Fumé appellation of origin vineyard has developed around Pouilly sur Loire on hillsides overlooking the Loire Valley. It stretches to the North and East among the wine-growing villages and hamlets of Boisgibault, Bouchot, Berthiers, Cassiers, Loges and Saint Andelain. The Domaine de Ladoucette vineyard is located on the southern flank of the Saint Andelain hill.

Eye: Pale golden colour with luminous highlights, revealing its freshness and purity.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe white fruit such as pear and apple, mixed with mineral notes of gunflint and subtle hints of citrus.

Palate: Elegant, well-balanced texture, with lively acidity and good depth. Flavours of white fruit, lemon and white flowers, with a long, mineral finish.

Food and wine pairing: Ideal with seafood, grilled fish or goat's cheese dishes. Also perfect as an aperitif or with fresh salads.
