Description
The Allegrini family has been protagonists in the history of Fumane and Valpolicella Classica since the sixteenth century, and has passed on the culture of vines and wine ever since.
The corporate heritage of Giovanni Allegrini, architect of the renaissance of Valpolicella, has been passed on to the next generation. Today, Franco's heirs are at the head of the company: Francesco, Giovanni and Matteo and Silvia, Walter's heir.
Tasting
Eye: The wine has a lovely ruby hue that remains transparent and inviting.
Nose: the cherry becomes riper, leaving notes of black pepper and medicinal herbs in the background.
Palate: agile and juicy, well supported by acidity, with a dry, harmonious finish.
Food pairing: This wine goes well with Italian hors d'oeuvres, soups, pasta dishes and, in general, a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. Excellent
Excellent with white, roasted or grilled meats, it is also ideal as a summer red wine for fish dishes.
