Description
The Allegrini family has been protagonists in the history of Fumane and Valpolicella Classica since the sixteenth century, and has passed on the culture of vines and wine ever since.
The corporate heritage of Giovanni Allegrini, architect of the renaissance of Valpolicella, has been passed on to the next generation. Today, Franco's heirs are at the head of the company: Francesco, Giovanni and Matteo and Silvia, Walter's heir.
Tasting
Nose: Notes of berries and aromatic herbs come through clearly on the nose and carry over to a palate whose texture is based on soft, mellow tannins that accompany the sip through to a long, fascinating finish.
Palate: the texture is based on soft, supple tannins that follow the sip through to a long, fascinating finish. Mushroom and sausage risotto, amatriciana and carbonara pasta, ham and culatello planks, pork loin, roast veal, Parmesan and aged Monte Veronese.
