Blanc de Noir - Bündner 2021

The Bündner Herrschaft has a very favourable climate due to its unique location in the Rhine valley and benefits from the warm southerly wind, the Föhn. The area under vines is about 420 hectares and almost 80% of it is planted with red grape varieties, of which Pinot Noir is the undisputed star in the vineyard. Among the white varieties, the diversity is broader and includes local and international varieties with Completer as the white flagship. Due to the excellent wine quality and the classic Burgundy varieties, the Bündner Herrschaft is praised as the Burgundy of Switzerland.

The red Pinot Noir grapes are pressed immediately after de-stemming and then pressed and matured like a white wine in stainless steel tanks. Through filtration of the colour particles, this wine is white like a white wine.

A berry-fruity, fragrant, light and drinkable wine. Fresh and fine on the palate. Aromatic and soft with a subtle, seductive sweetness on the attack and refreshing fine acidity on the finish.
