Elevage
The technology is minimalist, using granite lagares with foot treading, where the temperature is around 26ºC. After the malolactic process, part of the blend was transferred to French oak barrels, where it aged for around 14 months.

Description
It is a story of passion, struggle, entrepreneurial ability and a deep love of the land, illustrated by a small family business with 45 hectares of vineyards and wine brands that begin to reach the four corners of the world.
VINILOURENÇO is situated in the small village of Poço do Canto, Meda municipality, in the heart of the Douro Superior. Since the 1980s, the Lourenço Family has been acquiring several properties in the Douro Superior. Horácio Lourenço after returning from Angola, idealized an imaginary triangle for the location of his vineyards.
Tasting
An elegant violet color. The nose shows excellent aromatic freshness, intensity and aromas of Douro berries, in perfect harmony with soft notes of spice and minerality. On the palate it starts off voluminous, with fresh, fine-textured tannins, confirming a wine with enormous structure, elegance and aging power. It finishes in an enveloping way with a long and persistent finish, fully reflecting the essence of the micro-terroir and the typicity of the grape variety. A truly exceptional wine.
