Ciarlone - Bio 2020

Tenuta L'Impostino, a 52-hectare Tuscan wine estate, combines vineyards, forests and olive groves. Patrizia Chiari, inspired by her grandfather and local tradition, has transformed the estate into a thriving vineyard. The historic heritage of Imposto and Impostino, medieval resting places between Siena and Grosseto, has been carefully restored by the current owners.

Eye: Bright red

Nose: Immediately reveals its fresh character, with an intense, vinous fragrance, characterised by luscious, fruity notes of Morello cherry.

Palate: rich and intense, with well-structured tannins balanced by a pleasant sweetness and youthful freshness. The finish is persistent, with a very pleasant hint of bitterness.

Serving temperature: A fresh, pure wine, served in large glasses at an optimum temperature of 16-18°C.

Food and wine pairings: This wine goes well with charcuterie boards and medium-aged cheeses, possibly lightly grilled. It is at its best with tasty starters, such as classic lasagne and pici in meat sauce, and with chicken, rabbit or turkey dishes, stewed or lightly roasted. It's a must with grilled meats and mixed sausages, where the fruitiness and natural sweetness are the perfect accompaniment to the aromatic, smoky notes.
