Tawny 40 ans - Royal Oporto

The exceptional character of this port is the result of an equally exceptional ageing process in the finest oak casks selected to achieve a perfect balance of aromas and flavours. With a distinct pale amber colour and tawny reddish-brown highlights, this very old port ages patiently in the deep silence and unique atmosphere of Real Companhia Velha's two hundred year old lodges.

It is a very special old port with great aromatic intensity and notes of vanilla, spices and dried citric fruits. It is powerful, yet velvety, with an explosion of intense flavours showing its well-integrated brandy. It finishes long on the palate with a lively acidity that highlights its orange peel highlights.
