Consultant-oenologist and winegrower, Jean-Luc Colombo is a key player in the Rhône Valley. He acquired his first vineyard in 1986 in Cornas, near Valence. Located on a granite hillside, the Eygas estate is planted with old Syrah vines, which overlook the village and the Rhône.

Today, he owns 15 hectares in Cornas and Saint-Péray, and 15 hectares on the Côte Bleue, near Marseille, a region from which he originates.

He exports all his wines to more than 50 countries.

Eye : Deep ruby/purple colour.

Nose : Superb, opening with black fruits, spices and a melted woodiness.

Mouth : The wine is round, powerful, with dense and concentrated red fruit flavours.

Food and wine pairing : To be enjoyed with lamb or a truffle turnover.
