Description
In 1469 A.D., in the heart of Sicily, in the principality of Villanova, the baglio (a typical Sicilian quadrangular building) was built by the noble Aragonese family of Abatellis.
Six hundred years later, in the same cellars, from the same land, their wines are produced.
At the end of the 1800s, the history of Feudo Montoni became linked to that of the Sirec family. Rosatio, Fabio's grandfather, bought the Feudo, recognising the particular characteristics of the land and its biodiversity.
He found old vines of Perricone, Nero d'Avola, Catarratto ... and, above all, he fell in love with the wines of these grapes, which had elegant and unusual characteristics.
