Tasting
Eye : The purple colour is very clear.
Nose : The nose expresses intense notes of black fruits with a lot of freshness. Hints of cedar mingle with morello cherry aromas.
Palate : The palate is elegant and presents a frank attack followed by a beautiful amplitude, the tannins are fine and velvety with crunchy black fruit. The whole is carried by a well-controlled woodiness with subtle aromas of liquorice. The finish is long and persistent.
This wine is the perfect accompaniment to aperitifs, white meat (veal roulade) or red meat (beef) grilled or in sauce, as well as fine cheeses.
