Description
Château des Laurets Baron cultivates a selection of plots, harvested and sorted by hand, to produce a blend with all the care that goes into the finest wines. After acquiring Château des Laurets in 2003, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild wanted to highlight the unique character of this estate by producing a limited vintage from a selection of the best Merlot plots.
A niche wine, produced only in the best years, Château des Laurets Baron bears the mark of the great Saint‑Emilion wines, predominantly Merlot.
Tasting
Apparence : The color offers a presentation with an intense deep purple color.
Nose : The aromas on the nose exhale notes of blackberries, cherry stones and vanilla. It is a cascade of aromas of rare elegance that this plot selection offers us.
On the palate : In the mouth, this 100% Merlot wine designed for very long aging is of exceptional aromatic complexity. Black fruits such as blackberries and cherries precede a body structured by present woody notes, a guarantee of great longevity.
