Cortes do Tua Wines was born from the encounter between the vineyards of the Tua Valley and the hands of two young winemakers, Duarte da Costa and Ana de Almeida, whose passion for wine, international experience and Douro winemaking tradition have united these two young people in the production of harmonious, balanced and elegant wines.

Eye: Ruby-red color.

Nose: Complex, intense aroma of red fruit, black cherry and plum.

Palate: The acidity and firm tannins make this a balanced, intense, velvety wine with a long, fruity finish.

2021 will be remembered as a demanding harvest, full of freshness and elegance. The winter was harsh, with good rainfall, giving the vines good reserves to cope with the hottest days in August without too much water stress. The first rains at the beginning of September made the harvest even more difficult, where the ability to adapt and plan throughout the day was crucial to achieving excellence.
