Description
The range of Puy Arnaud wines is eclectic and creative. Its aim is to offer you wines for all occasions: fruit wines with friends, the good Bordeaux for the lunchtime brasserie, the lively and taut Rosé for the summer holidays and the Grand Vin for exceptional meals.
It has the ambition to be part of the redefinition of a Bordeaux style based on freshness, drinkability, fruit brightness and aromatic complexity, with finishes full of energy and persistence dominating the alcohol. All this with the silkiest and finest tannins possible, in search of racy and optimistic wines.
Annual production is around 60,000 bottles, 50% of which are Grand Vin.

Tasting
« This is a major Bordeaux... the kind you put away for at least 10 years. And it costs less than many other red Bordeaux of this quality. Very dark purple. Exciting nose : green (including wild leaves), earthy, toasty (showing some expensive barrel treatment). Huge fruity but complex wine. Great acid, great balance. A lovely flood of purple decadence next to a grilled lamb chop right now... but so much more awaits in the future. Made with 65% Merlot. »
