Description
The origin of the name Château Bel Orme Tronquoy-de-Lalande goes back to the end of the 18th century when the park that adorned the Château gave it its name: "Bel Orme".
The Merlots of Châteaux Bel Orme are the dominant grape variety in the final blend and are generous, round and greedy. With a fresh and acidulous fruit, the very pronounced red fruit aromas give the wine an aromatic expression of its own. A signature of the great wines of the Haut-Médoc, the Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine power, structure and a complexity that will reveal itself after a few years of ageing. With notes of black fruits, violets and raspberries, it provides long and velvety tannins on the palate.
Aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, the wines of Château Bel Orme Tronquoy-de-Lalande are generous, crisp and charming and, with ageing, fully express their finesse.
