Description
Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, the origins of this wine go back to the 15th century, but its name was given in 1762 by François de Péguilhan, Marquis de Terme. Since 1855, Marquis de Terme has been a Grand Cru Classé.
Situated on a central plateau, its 40 hectares of gravel, typical of Margaux, are planted with noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, which have made the international reputation of Médoc wines.
When one evokes Margaux and its terroir, the first words that come to mind are elegance, finesse and delicacy. Moreover, the appellation has the largest number of Grands Crus Classés of which Château Marquis de Terme is one.

Tasting
Appearance : a beautiful deep, crystal clear colour with hints of dark garnet and violet.
Aroma : subtle nose offers fresh floral aromas and good length. The bouquet fills out with notes of spices and small wild fruit.
Palate : the wine is balanced and supple with a pleasant acidity, giving it a pleasing minerality. The structure of the tannins is sleek and mature with superb consistency in the mouth. Pepper, red fruit and notes of liquorice develop in a delicious, long finish.
A very enjoyable wine, to be shared with
friends. Taste, with red
meat, either grilled or with a sauce, white
meat and prepared pork dishes such as pâté
and dried sausage.
Decant if possible and serve at 18°C
