Along with Calon-Ségur, Château de Pez is the oldest wine estate in Saint-Estèphe. In 1995, Champagne Louis Roederer acquired it.
The vineyard now covers 38 hectares and 3 different terroirs, with gravel, limestone and marly sand.
Tasting
To the eye : Château de Pez has a deep colour and a harmonious composition.
On the palate : The colour is dark with a spicy nose. The wine is supple, a little dry, quite tannic, pure, a little dry, but with a nice density.
Contains sulfites
