L'Équilibriste 2020

A new cuvée dominated by Cabernet Franc, L'équilibriste has been designed for immediate pleasure, with the aim of revealing a very pure and expressive fruit.

The wine, which is crisp and delicious, is intended to be drunk in its early years and has been produced without added sulphites.

The name symbolises their quest for harmony between the classic structure of Bordeaux wines and great aromatic expression. It also illustrates their journey towards organic conversion as well as their unique geographical location, on the very border between the Bordeaux and Dordogne regions.

Eye : A beautiful, deep, intense violet red colour.

Nose : Intense aromas of small black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry) and notes of peony and violet, all on a very slightly liquorice matrix.

Palate : the attack is round, almost sweet, with crisp, juicy fruit flavours. Mineral and floral flavours continue the tasting on a subtle and silky tannic framework.

Thus, the wine reveals  the balance (l'équilibriste means balancer)  between fruit and structure, between sweetness and liveliness, between finesse and intensity...
