The history of Champagne Lallier began in 1906 with René Lallier, a passionate lover of the Aÿ terroir, who laid the foundations of the House's philosophy by focusing on the quality of the grapes and the production process. His son Jean Lallier took over the House in 1938, bringing innovations to cultivation and production, while James Lallier, from 1973 onwards, modernised the infrastructure and created new emblematic cuvées. In 2004, Francis Tribaut took the reins, ushering in a period of growth and oenological innovation.
In January 2021, Dominique Demarville became Cellar Master and Managing Director of Lallier. Drawing on his expertise in Champagne growing, he brings a modern and precise vision of blending, highlighting the complexity of the wines and guiding the House towards a more eco-responsible approach.
Lallier is based in Aÿ and Oger, two complementary sites within the Grands Crus of Champagne. Aÿ houses the ageing cellars, while Oger is home to modern production facilities, offering a balance between ancient traditions and contemporary innovations.
