Château Pontac-Lynch, classified Cru Bourgeois since 1932, enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the appellation Margaux. Since 1952, Pontac-Lynch belongs to the Bondon family that manages its 10 hectares. The vines grow on a gravel terroir on the surface and limestone in depth.
Manual harvests allow to select the best of the harvest. The breeding is traditional, in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months.
The blend of our Cru Bourgeois is balanced with 50% Sauvignon and Franc cabernets, 48% Merlot and a tip of Petit Verdot.
It reveals notes of candied fruit as well as prunes in the nose, and a hint of spices and raspberry in the palate.
By letting it flourish at least 3 to 4 years, it will further develop its side "velvet in mouth".
