From the pioneering vision of a group of men who planned to leverage the Dão region and its wines to levels never before achieved, UDACA - União das Adegas Cooperativas do Dão was born on 21st May 1966.
Currently, UDACA represents, with its Associated Wineries, almost 60% of the Dão wine production, which, together with the numerous awards and participations in events, reflects UDACA as one of the main voices of the Dão and Beira Alta region.
UDACA fulfils the mission of promoting and commercialising the wines of the Dão region in all national markets and beyond, internationalisation being one of its strategies, with exports exceeding 65% of its products.
UDACA comprises a shop, museum, auditorium, laboratory, warehouse (with more than 100 vats capable of storing 6,000,000 litres), 2 bottling lines (each capable of debugging 6,000 bottles/hour) and an underground cellar.
In addition to these features, UDACA is often the stage for various types of social events.
