Located right in the heart of Portugal, 120 km from Lisbon and 180km from Porto, in Reguengo do Fétal - Batalha.

CASA JOSÉ REPOLHO ("José Repolho - Vinhos Distintos, Ltd"),was founded in 1973, by Sir José Repolho with the main goal of market the wine production of the region's winemakers, due to the inexistence of professional structures for this at that time.

they are an independent middle sized Portuguese family winery, with over 40 years of tradition and heritage in the elaboration and bottling of fine wines. The vineyards are located in the Lisbon and Tejo region, it is an area of small traditional vineyards, with exceptional conditions for wine growing, due to a micro clime that it is influenced by the Atlantic sea. They also operate a cooperative  system with several associated small producers that they work with. they do throughout the year, the follow up of these vineyards, in order that they can present fine wines. This task it is very important for these small producers and for the local economy, because they can produced quality wines, but don't have capacity to market their wines.

they  follow the heritage of Portuguese wines that is the production of fine blends, full of history. The wine making process it is not only a story of glamour, but in some ways, it is a story of hard work and passion, and it´s this that allows to produce special wines, full of terroir.
