Ideally located on the heights of Nice, on the eastern slope of the Plaine du Var, 10 minutes from the shores of the Baie des Anges, the Domaine de Toasc is a family property of 15 hectares spread over 8 hectares of vineyards and 2 hectares of olive trees.
It was in 1992, that Bernard Nicoletti bought 12 hectares of land left abandoned on the place called "Toasc". From this space, already used partly as a vineyard by the Hooper family (photo), from 1850 to 1906, it preserves the olive trees planted on more than one hectare and a half, it clears the rest, restructures the cramped restanques by widening them and It replicates the original grape varieties specific to the County of Nice and typical of the Bellet appellation: La Folle Noire and Braquet for red wine, Rolle for white wine.
Since 2000, Bernard Nicoletti, the winemaker, has been the first to release vintages of his new vineyard: Domaine de Toasc.
In 2000, Bernard Nicoletti built his cellar and his new Palladian style house. Four large antique columns, which have become the symbolic image of the property, mark the entrance to the tasting room.
